CORROSION RESISTANCE PERFORMANCE

Corroshield Contructions Fasteners, are coated with our unique coating that would provide our carbon steel fasteners with exceptional corrosion ressistance capabilities. These specially coated fasteners are especially applicable for outdoor environment where they are exposed to the contamination of natural & industrial atmosphere. Corroshield Construction Fasteners, are protected with layers of anti-rust coating specially concocted by our engineers. This proprietary coating formula consist mainly af Zinc and Aluminum to combat deterioration of steel surfaces. It provides far more advantages in comparison to conventional electrolating, dip spin coating & even mechanical plating.

Corrosion resistance performance of fasteners used in building and contructions is crucial because they provide integrity & securement to the other system components. Corrosion of ferrous fasteners can lead to failure of building system as aresult of their pre-mature deterioration.

Test conducted on Corroshield Contructon Fasteners, by internationally accredited laboratories have found that we comply with corrosion resistance requirement of AS 3566.2 - 2002, Class 3 and 4. Further corrosion test methods in accordance to ASTM D6294 - 2003 were also pplied to assure further compliance of our fasteners performance under various enviromental categories ( SS - EN ISO 12944-2).
